IMG: Freud, Symbolism & Africa

From the previous post on Symbolism by Dr Umar Johnson, I found several pictures of of Freud's office, each clearly showing numerous African masks, dolls, and other artifacts.

Dr. Johnson describes the origin of Freud's subconscious theories as distinctly African, which he learned after visiting the continent.

IMG: Its not because I'm black, Its because they are white

This concept should be understood as pointing out how, for centuries, Africans as a people have been beaten and killed to program them to reject their own culture and their own identity and to place the blame for that situation on THEMSELVES, in many various ways, and even through language.

But I assure you, its not me, it is them.
